Cloudbeds Integration

YQueue provides an integration with Cloudbeds for our Hotel Kiosk application.


How to sign up for YQueue?

The easiest way to sign up for a YQueue merchant account is to contact our sales team via our website contact form. Upon receipt of your message they'll reach out to arrange a demo and discuss the best path forward for your business.


How to connect YQueue with Cloudbeds for the first time?

Connecting YQueue <-> Cloudbeds is done via the Cloudbeds marketplace. Simply:

  1. Log in to Cloudbeds
  2. Click on the "Accounts" button in the top right corner of the Cloudbeds web interface and select "Apps & marketplace"
  3. Search for "YQueue"
  4. When prompted, click on the "Connect App" button
  5. Authorize YQueue to access your Cloudbeds account
  6. Cloudbeds will redirect you to the YQueue merchant console, which will allow you to select which outlet you'd like to link (on the YQueue side) with the appropriate hotel (on the Cloudbeds side)

Specific functionality of the integration

YQueue allows your customers to check-in, check-out, book a room and extend an existing reservation via our dedicated hotel kiosk application. The easy to use and self-explanatory workflow will allow your guests to self-manage their entire stay, freeing up your staff to focus on providing the best customer experience.


What are the limitations of the integration?

There are a few important details/limitations to be aware of when using YQueue alongside Cloudbeds.


Check In

YQueue's hotel kiosk will only permit the customer to proceed with check-in if all of the following is satisfied:

  • The reservation is fully paid-up (i.e. pre-paid)
  • There are available rooms that can be assigned to the reservation (if not already)
  • The assigned rooms housekeeping status indicates the rooms are clean, vacant and not blocked

Security Deposits

YQueue's hotel kiosk is able to collect security deposits during check-in if a Fee has been configured in the Cloudbeds management interface called Security Deposit.

While cash security deposits can be collected by the kiosk, they must be manually refunded at reception by a staff member.

Card security deposits are captured as pre-auth transactions and are automatically void on check-out.

Does YQueue support Cloudbeds group accounts?

Yes, when enabling the YQueue app via the Cloudbeds marketplace, simply select which property you'd like to link. Ensure that there is one "outlet" configured in the YQueue merchant console for each Cloudbeds "property".
