Retail
Retail support is progressively rolling out across our applications, starting with YQueue Kiosk. Contact your account manager for further information or if you require assistance deploying your existing kiosks in a retail context.
YQueue is rolling out support for retail merchants throughout our applications. As part of this roll-out we've taken the opportunity to standardise how services are configured and tidied up some configuration options.
Updated Service Configuration

Previously, dine in / take away / delivery were configured independently under Applications > Online Ordering and Applications > Kiosk. While this allowed merchants to control the behaviour of services on a per-application basis, it also made setup confusing for first-time users and troubleshooting any misconfiguration difficult. To improve this experience for all customers we've centralised service configuration under the Outlets > Services tab. Some important things to note as part of this change:
- We've automatically merged your service configurations
- Users that have permission to manage an outlet's configuration will now be able to manage services without needing permission to manage individual application settings
- Individual service types can be suppressed on a per-application basis
- This ensures the existing ability to disable services on specific applications is retained
Revamped Kiosk Profiles

If you are still using Kinesis Kiosk and require custom landing screen media, you must create a kiosk profile and associate it with your kiosk to continue using this feature.
Similarly to the service configuration screen, we've simplified the configuration of kiosks to ensure consistency between Kinesis Kiosk (our legacy kiosk application) and YQueue Kiosk. We've removed the Outlet Settings tab from the console and moved all kiosk configuration into the Kiosk Profiles tab (except for service related configuration, which now lives under the Outlets > Services tab - see above).
As part of this change, we've moved some infrequently used settings under the new Advanced Settings section to allow merchants to focus on their day-to-day configuration needs after initial setup.
Application Quick Settings

We've added a new quick settings screen under Applications > Quick Settings to facilitate the easy toggling of application availability throughout the platform. This new screen allows you to quickly control the availability of applications across multiple outlets on a simple screen, ensuring configuration consistency.
Date Improvements
We've updated the default date format used by the console to better match customer expectations. Previously date-times followed the mm/dd/yyyy format - they now follow the dd/mm/yyyy format to match the format used by most of our customers in their day-to-day operations.
