Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) Integration
YQueue provides an integration with Kounta for our Kiosk and Online Ordering applications.
Installation
Before You Get Started
You should be aware of the below points before activating the integration. If you have any questions, please contact your account manager for assistance.
- You cannot activate the Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) integration if you have an existing POS integration configured against your merchant profile
- You cannot activate the Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) integration if you have any outstanding orders at your outlet (mark any in-progress orders as complete to proceed)
- You will not be able to use YQueue OMS (any existing OMS terminals will be unlinked)
- You will not be able to use YQueue's reports
- Your catalog will be wiped (except for discounts and surcharges) and replaced with the contents of your Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) menu
- YQueue does not support the optional "Price List" feature offered by Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta)
Navigate to the YQueue merchant console and follow the below steps:
- Click Integrations in the navigation bar
- Click Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) in the list of supported integrations
- Click Activate on the top right of the screen that appears
- Follow the instructions on the Lightspeed authorisation page
- Once you return to YQueue and the integration is activated, click Manage next to the outlets that you wish to link and select the appropriate Lightspeed Site in the dropdown
Using The Integration
After the integration has been successfully configured all orders placed via YQueue Kiosk or Online Ordering will automatically be sent to Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) (usually within 30 seconds).
We'll automatically retry sending orders to Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) for up to 5 minutes if there are any issues. If after 5 minutes we're still unable to send the order to Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta), we'll automatically cancel the order and refund the customer. Your account manager will reach out to you if this occurs.
Any changes to your Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) menu(s) will be automatically synced with YQueue Kiosk and Online Ordering, usually within 60 seconds of Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) notifying us of the change.
Unsupported Features
When the Lightspeed O-Series (Kounta) integration is enabled the following features will be disabled on your merchant profile:
- GTO integrations (as the POS will be responsible for GTO)
- Pickup Display
- All catalog/menu management (except for discounts and surcharges)
