Staff Management

The merchant console provides the ability to invite staff members to assist with operational management of the merchant within the YQueue platform. By default staff members have the same permissions as the owner, however it is possible to restrict access to specific features within the console. It is also possible to limit which outlet the staff member has access to (in a multi-outlet merchant or food court configuration).


Existing Staff

To manage an existing staff member's account, select the Staff entry in the navigation bar and select the name of the staff member in the list that is shown on the screen (you can search by name and filter by status). From there you can see basic information about the staff member's profile, revoke their access or change their role.


Staff Role Management

YQueue supports three roles:

Role Permissions
Owner Has unrestricted access to the merchant's profile within the console.
Manager Has unrestricted access to the merchant's profile within the console, except for managing the billing profile (in an upcoming release of the console).
Custom Only permitted to view reports, orders and transactions at the outlets they are specific granted access to.

Invite Staff

A future release of the console will support inviting staff members via mobile number and a shared link.

To invite a new staff member, select the Staff entry in the navigation bar and tab the Invites tab on the page that appears. From there, tap Invite Staff (in the top right corner of the screen) and enter the information requested. The staff member will receive an email with further instructions.

When inviting a staff member with a custom role, they will have to accept the invitation before you are able to assign any specific permissions.
